Reliable. High-performance.

From boutique residential projects to large-scale multi-residential and commercial developments, we work closely with the specification community to create tailored outcomes that meet both design intent and practical installation requirements. With fully custom sizing, configurable lip profiles, integrated falls to waste, and a curated range of premium finishes, Formed provides a sophisticated , reliable and durable alternative to traditional shower systems.

Formed Solid Surface offers a reliable, high-performance material, Meganite, that balances design flexibility, durability and long-term value.

    • Custom shaping: complex curves, integrated sinks, upstands and coved details are achievable without visible seams, enabling bespoke solutions for vanity tops, bathrooms, shower bases and more.

    • Colour range: available in a broad palette of finishes to match project brief and lighting conditions.

    • High-impact resistance and dimensional stability mean Formed Solid Surface performs reliably in heavy-use commercial settings such as healthcare, hospitality, retail and workplaces.

    • Repairable and renewable: minor scratches and surface damage can be professionally repaired or renewed on site, extending service life and reducing lifecycle cost.

    • Non-porous, seamless solid surfaces reduce bacterial harborage points, supporting infection-control strategies in healthcare and aged-care areas.

    • Easy to clean and maintain with standard cleaning protocols, minimising long-term maintenance budgets.

    • Long service life and repairability contribute to lower embodied impact over a building’s lifespan.

    • Material efficiency: precise manufacturing reduces waste compared with some alternatives.

    • Supports circular thinking: components can be refurbished rather than replaced, aligning with sustainable building standards and client ESG requirements.

    • Local fabrication capabilities and experienced technicians ensure accurate translation of design intent, tight tolerances and timely delivery.

    • Lightweight relative to many natural stones, easing handling and reducing structural loading where useful.

    • Predictable installation process with coordinated detailing for substrate fixings, drainage and integrated services.

Discover Meganite AcryMed MediWhite

  • AcryMed MediWhite is a specialised antimicrobial acrylic solid surface product within the MEGANITE range, designed specifically for healthcare, commercial, food-service and hygiene-critical environments. Unlike standard decorative solid surfaces, the AcryMed range focuses heavily on bacterial resistance, cleanability, and indoor environmental quality.

  • Product: AcryMed MediWhite 033Z

    Brand: MEGANITE

    Colour: Clinical White (033Z MediWhite)

    Light Reflective Value: (LRV)86

    Material Type: Acrylic Solid Surface

    Silica Content: 100% Silica-Free

    VOC Rating: Low VOC

    Antibacterial Certification: ISO 22196

Fire Application: Suitable for Group 1 Fire Rated wall lining applications

    Finish Recommendation: Matte Finish

  • The major difference between standard solid surface and AcryMed is its integrated zinc-based antibacterial technology.

This antibacterial additive is embedded into the raw material during manufacturing rather than applied as a surface coating. That means the protection remains throughout the material and cannot wear off through normal use or refinishing.

    According to MEGANITE:

    • Tested under ISO 22196 and JIS Z2801 standards

    • Designed to inhibit stain-causing and odour-causing bacteria

    • Helps reduce microbial growth on the product surface itself

    • Non-porous and seamless when fabricated correctly

    • Resistant to moisture penetration and contamination build-up within joins

  • AcryMed is not a disinfectant and does not protect users from disease-causing bacteria.

Instead, the antimicrobial technology protects the product surface itself from bacterial degradation, odours and staining between cleaning cycles. Regular cleaning and disinfection procedures are still required.

This distinction is important when specifying for hospitals, aged care facilities, medical centres or government projects.
