12mm profile shower base

Our 12mm Solid Surface Shower Bases are precision manufactured to deliver a sleek, low-profile shower solution without compromising on performance or compliance. Fully customisable up to 1000mm x 1200mm, each base can be tailored to suit your project requirements, including completely custom outlet positioning.

OUTLET POSITION
To ensure compliant drainage performance in accordance with AS3740, outlet placement must maintain a minimum setback of 120mm from the outside edge of the base to the centre of the outlet. This allows the shower base to achieve a compliant fall to waste while maintaining the clean, architectural aesthetic expected of premium bathroom design.
Crafted from durable, 100% non-porous solid surface material, our 12mm bases combine minimalist design with exceptional functionality, making them ideal for modern residential and architectural applications.

All Formed Solid Surface shower bases are fully customisable, allowing you to specify wall lips, screen lips, or lipless edges on any side to suit your installation and design requirements.

Lip profiles add approximately 10mm to the overall height of the shower base and are designed to assist with waterproofing integration and shower screen installation where required.
PARTIAL LIP PROFILE
We also offer partial lip configurations, enabling lip profiles to extend along only a nominated section of a side. For example, on a 1000mm side, you may specify a 500mm wall lip with the remaining 500mm left lipless to accommodate an open-entry or level-access design.

10mm high, 35mm wide, designed for screen or bracket placement. Slim and unobtrusive, this profile provides a clean, professional finish for mounting screens, brackets or lightweight fixtures. Precision-cut dimensions ensure a consistent fit, while the low profile keeps attention on the display or hardware mounted.
WALL LIP PROFILE
10mm high external wall lip designed for wallboard, with an internal 25mm-wide wall lip to support tiles. Precision-formed for a neat junction between wallboard and tiled surfaces, this profile provides reliable edge protection, a secure tile bearing, and a clean, professional finish. Manufactured from durable materials for long-term performance in wet and high-traffic areas. Suited to bathrooms, kitchens and commercial installations where a defined transition and strong tile support are required. Easy to install and trim on-site to accommodate varying thicknesses. Available in multiple finishes to match surrounding materials.
NO LIP PROFILE
A no lip profile provides a clean, minimalist edge while maintaining a compliant fall to the waste. The continuous surface ensures water runs directly toward the drain, meeting drainage requirements without a raised lip. Ideal for contemporary wet areas and accessible installations, this profile simplifies cleaning and creates an uninterrupted aesthetic while delivering reliable performance. Materials and installation must be specified to achieve the required slope and drainage compliance.

Guide before requesting a quote

If you do not have wall boards in your shower area
Measure from stud to stud for the length.
The shower base is designed to butt up against your studs, so use the stud-to-stud dimension as your length measurement.
If you have existing walls (including tiled walls) and do not want to remove them
Measure from wall to wall for the length.
Measure from the wall to the entry (the shower opening) for the width.
Notes for accurate measuring
Measure to the nearest millimeter where possible.
Take measurements at floor level since walls and floors can be out of plumb; record the smallest dimension if there is any variation.
If walls have tiles or finishes, measure to the finished surface you intend the base to meet.
For irregular openings or partially framed walls, provide detailed sketches or photos to ensure a correct fit.
If you’d like, send your measurements and photos and we can confirm suitability and advise on tolerance and installation details.

Yes. The task of removing your existing tiles can be a lot of work, especially in older style homes. You can use a self-levelling compound, let it cure, use a waterproofing membrane, then follow our installation guide to install the shower base.

We would ideally like to discuss your project with you prior to placing an order to ensure the most suitable configuration is selected for your installation.
For any side of the shower base that will be installed against an existing tiled wall, we suggest selecting our 10mm high x 35mm wide wall lip option rather than our standard wall lip configuration, which consists of a 10mm high x 10mm wide external wall lip with an integrated 5mm high x 25mm wide internal wall lip.
This wider wall lip provides an enhanced water retention barrier along the wall edges of the shower base, helping to direct water back into the shower area and reducing the risk of water migration beyond the wet area.

A Smart Pan generally refers to a pre-formed shower base system that incorporates a removable access panel or service access provision to allow access to plumbing components beneath the shower floor after installation.
The exact design varies between manufacturers, but the primary purpose is to provide access to:
Waste outlets and traps
Plumbing connections
Leak inspections
Future maintenance or repairs
Drain cleaning and blockage removal
Unlike a traditional shower base that may require tiles, flooring, or the base itself to be removed to access plumbing, a Smart Pan system is designed so that access can be gained through a removable section, adjacent access panel, or service opening.
If you are wanting an outlet that requires access underneath with your shower base (Option B - screw in waste & option C -Flush cap waste), please reach out to your plumber or nearest plumbing retailer to discuss your options before proceeding with an order as we will manufacture your shower base to suit the outlet type you select. This is very important and will effect the usability of your shower base during the installation phase if the incorrect outlet is ordered.
Option A - Standard puddle flange, will not require access underneath. The puddle flange would need to be level with your substrate
