General FAQs

  • Solid surface is a premium engineered material designed for seamless, durable, and hygienic wet area applications including shower bases, vanity tops, washplanes, and commercial surfaces.

  • No. Solid surface generally feels warmer and smoother underfoot and to the touch compared with many tiled or natural stone surfaces.

  • Our solid surface is heat resistant up to 50°C. For vanity tops and benchtops, avoid placing hot items directly on the surface, always use heat pads or trivets for hot appliances, cookware or hair styling implements. Consider the effect of direct sunlight from skylights during summer; prolonged exposure can raise surface temperature above the resistance threshold and may cause damage, bowing or discolouration. If a benchtop is under a skylight, position the layout or add shading/film to minimise direct solar heating, or specify heat-tolerant detailing. Follow these precautions to preserve finish and performance.
